[ INSIGHT ]
Rifugio Tosa Pedrotti is the oldest mountain hut in the Brenta Dolomites.
Rifugio Tosa Pedrotti is the starting point of the most beautiful hikes and vie ferrate (fixed rope routes) in the central Brenta Dolomites. The structure is composed of two separate buildings, the oldest of which has been built in 1881. It has been defined “a paradise for mountaineers and mountain lovers”.

The challenge was to create a brand identity which was modern but, at the same time, conveyed the historical importance of Rifugio Tosa Pedrotti.

Color palette
The color palette used for the logo and visuals remind of both the beautiful sky and the dolomite rocks surrounding the rifugio.

Logo design
The concept for the logo has been inspired by the key elements characterizing the structure: the sky, the dolomite rock and the sheltering nature of the mountain hut. The lettermark used for the name recalls memories of rock engravings.
ICONOGRAPHY
The website icons and illustrations have been designed with a sketchy “petroglyphs-like” look and feel.
Website layout
Once establishing the branding of the Rifugio, we adapted the look & feel to the website layout. The design has been focused on providing an easy and informative user experience. The website was tailored to be informative not only of the mountain hut’s services but also of the activities and hikes departing from the rifugio. Particular attention has been been paid to the responsive interface layout.
